Want to learn more about the Bailey GREENhouse & Urban Farm? Come visit us! Whether you decide to walk around our grounds, join us for a guided educational tour, or participate in one of our workshops, we would love to have you visit! Our rule of thumb is if the greenhouse doors are open, feel free to come in and walk around! Please read below to learn more, and if you’re interested, please complete the form at the bottom of the page.

Public Tours

With so much happening at the Bailey GREENhouse, the best way to experience it is with your own two eyes (and nose and ears and hands)! All ages are welcome on these tours, and we encourage you to take pictures, smell, taste, and touch. Please limit tour groups to 25 as our site is not large enough to accommodate larger numbers. Tours must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.

Tours for 25 people or less from schools (K-12), educational institutions, colleges/universities, nonprofits, or similar are $25.

Tours for 25 people or less from corporations, interest groups, business, or similar are $50.

Customized Workshops

Here at Bailey, we love hands-on education! If you’d like to take your experience to the next level, we offer customized workshops for your group to take advantage of! Want to learn more about vermicomposting? Love cooking with fresh, organic ingredients? Interested in how we manage pests on our farm? We are offering 1-2 hour time slots that can accommodate whatever agricultural interest your group may have. We are open to whatever interests your group has! Workshops must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance.

When scheduling a workshop, a $50 deposit is required. The flat rate for an hour long workshop for 25 people or less is $100. A 2-hour workshop of the same size costs $150. Any additional materials that we supply will be an added cost.
